About Justin

Justin originally hails from Mossman and completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in 2016. Prior to starting at City Sports and Spinal in early 2021, Justin worked in private practice in Melbourne and was fortunate enough to be able to learn from ‘titled’ musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapists. During his time down south, he also had the opportunity to be involved in high level sporting populations, including the NAB AFL league for boys and girls.

Justin enjoys treating people in all walks of life and is passionate about allowing the individual to take control over their condition. He utilises a combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to achieve this, while also placing a strong focus on best practice and education so that each client is engaged in his or her care.

Justin aims to always stay up to date with the latest evidence so that he is able to provide the best possible care. This has included meetings and lectures with renowned shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and spinal specialists. Given his previous professional and personal experience, he is also passionate about treating both the acute and chronic sporting injuries.

Outside work Justin is enjoys anything outdoors and will spend his weekends training his border collie pup or finding new places to go camping or hiking.
