In addition to our extensive range of covering materials we can now offer you Bamboolon. This material is a lightweight, effective, cushioning material laminated with a longwearing bamboo fabric cover.
Bamboolon is made from activated bamboo charcoal. Bamboolon is a naturally grown, ecological, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and deodorizing. Bamboolon is made without the chemicals that people are often allergic to. It’s breathable and highly durable. Our orthotic lab has done extensive trials over a 12 month period with excellent results and positive feedback from patients wearing orthoses with Bamboolon covers.
If you would like to try Bamboolon on your new orthoses please mention this to the Podiatrist at your appointment.
All of our existing Orthoses can be renovated, repaired and recovered. If your orthoses are looking worn you can have them reviewed by the Podiatrist. Please call us for a review appointment.
